School:            Backwell Federation

Hours:             35 hours per week

                         8:30-4pm with half hour lunch

                         Term Time Only.  Including 5 Inset days

Contract:         Permanent

Start:                Monday 4th January 2027 or sooner for the right candidate

Pay scale         JG6: SCP 19 - 23 (£33,119.00 - £35,570.00 fte)

                         (£27,517.75- £29,554.23 pro rata)

Backwell Federation is seeking to appoint a highly organised, flexible and friendly Office Manager to run our school offices at West Leigh Infants and Backwell Juniors.

The Office Manager will be responsible for over-seeing the administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school.

 The successful candidate must:

Have good attention to details and be organised and self-motivated

Have good GCSE results (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Ideally have experience working in education

Be able to work confidently under pressure to deadlines

Understand the need for confidentiality

Have great IT skills (Word/Excel) and be able to use data systems e.g. BromCom, iTrent, I AM Compliant
