We are looking for an inspiring, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This rewarding role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, helping pupils to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. Working as part of our wider school community, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, create a positive and inclusive learning environment, and support pupils to make excellent progress while developing confidence, independence and a love of learning.
To undertake this role successfully, you will need to be a qualified teacher with strong curriculum knowledge, high expectations of pupils and a commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for every child. You will be an effective communicator who works positively with colleagues, parents and carers, adapts teaching to meet the needs of all learners and promotes positive behaviour and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge and inspire pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all pupils feel safe, supported and valued.
- Assess, monitor and record pupils' progress, using assessment information to inform future teaching and learning.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional educational needs.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and conduct in line with the school's policies and expectations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leaders to enhance teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupils' progress, attainment and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in events, meetings, enrichment activities and professional development.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times, ensuring compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety and statutory requirements.

The Trust:
The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi-Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. From September there will be 33 schools in the Trust.
